My Favorite Couples

Valentines Day is tomorrow and I have to admit it's not my favorite holiday but it does give me an excuse to peruse the Disney classics, rom-coms and every sappy love story ever invented. And I have. I've watched about 30 movies (and TV shows) where love was a main plot point in the last month. So I thought I'd share some of my favorite true love couples (and some favorite lines they've uttered).

Belle and The Beast [Beauty and The Beast] Beast: You.. you came back. Belle: Of course I came back. I couldn't let them.. oh, this is all my fault if only I'd gotten here sooner. Beast: Maybe... it's better - it's better this way. Belle: Don't talk like that. You'll be all right. We're together now. Everything's going to be fine, you'll see. Beast: At-at least... I got to see you... one last time.

Holly Golightly and "Fred" [Breakfast at Tiffany's] Paul Varjak: I love you. Holly Golightly: So what. Paul Varjak: So what? So plenty! I love you, you belong to me! Holly Golightly: [tearfully] No. People don't belong to people. Paul Varjak: Of course they do! Holly Golightly: I'll never let ANYBODY put me in a cage. Paul Varjak: I don't want to put you in a cage, I want to love you!

Rory Gilmore and Logan Huntzberger [Gilmore Girls] "It’ll be fun, it’ll be a thrill; something stupid, something bad for you, just something different. Isn’t this the point of being young? It’s your choice, Ace.People can live a hundred years without really living for a minute. You climb up here with me, it’s one less minute you haven’t lived."

Ladon Carter and Jamie Sullivan [A Walk to Remember] Jamie: You know what I figured out today? Landon: What? Jamie: Maybe God has a bigger plan for me than I had for myself. Like this journey never ends. Like you were sent to me because I'm sick. To help me through all this. You're my angel.

Belle and Rumplestiltskin [Once Upon a Time] Belle:You, uh... you still have it. My chipped cup.  Mr. Gold: There are many, many things in this shop. But this... this is the only thing I truly cherish. And Mr. Gold: You must leave, because despite what you hope... I'm still a monster.  Belle: Don't you see? That's exactly the reason I have to stay. 

Noah and Allie [The Notebook] Allie: Stay with you? What for? Look at us, we're already fightin'
Noah: Well that's what we do, we fight... You tell me when I am being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you are a pain in the ass. Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a 2 second rebound rate, then you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing. Allie: So what? Noah: So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day. Will you do something for me, please? Just picture your life for me? 30 years from now, 40 years from now? What's it look like? If it's with him, go. Go! I lost you once, I think I can do it again. If I thought that's what you really wanted. But don't you take the easy way out.
