Travel Style
I've been traveling quite a bit this year so I've quickly realized what's best to wear when traveling to and fro the locations. Something I realized quickly is that layers are important. At the beginning of this month when I traveld to NYC via train I was really worried about bring too cold so I wore a cardigan/zip up sweater. It worked pretty well but I quickly realized I should've wore more because it was so air conditioned on the train! That's why for this look I picked my favorite jeans, a cute and comfy tee, my favorite scarf (the one pictured is very similar but Modcloth sells other similar ones) and converse for my upcoming trip to Florida!

Sephora Haul
I've just gotten home from a trip to the Big Apple and safe to say, you can't go to NYC without doing some damage. Here's some of my purchases from Sephora!
Smashbox Liquid Halo HD Foundation in 1 ($42): I bought this
before I went to NYC specifically for
the day we had to travel from a class at Broadway Dance Center to a full day in
the city and ending with seeing a Broadway performance. I didn’t want to
reapply my makeup so it was vital that it could last through all of that. I
think it did a pretty good job! What I love about this is that it does have a
bit of a glow and it doesn’t stick to any dry patches I may have.
Benefit Roller Lash mascara mini ($12): I’ve heard so many
great things about this mascara so I decided to jump on the bandwagon! It’s
marketed to hold curl, so we’ll see!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Ethereal Glow ($35): Oh,
boy! I’ve tried to buy this multiple times! Like maybe 5 or more times. I don’t
know what it is that makes me skeptical each time I put it in my cart. Let’s
hope I love it because the packaging is beautiful and in the pan, so is the
product!
Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Fair ($25) I actually
wanted to try out the Kat Von D liquid
concealer but they were out of my shade so, since I have the
stick Tarte concealer I thought that I’d try this one out too. I think (and
hope) it might be great to cover spots and such.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara ($23): I tried this mascara as a mini sample awhile
back and it quickly became my favorite. It creates crazy volume, length and
holds curl like nobody’s business. I’ve been debating on buying the full size
but I cracked because I lost the sample.
