My Alex and Ani Bracelet Collection
Alex and Ani bracelets are quite popular, I don't think I have a friend who doesn't wear Alex and Ani bracelets. I have seven and I love each and every one of them. The thought process behind the bracelets and the whole company is that they create "meaningful, eco-conscious jewelry and accessories to positively empower and connect humanity."
My favorite finish is the gold finish and I totally love my Disney one the most! ♥

Travel Style
I've been traveling quite a bit this year so I've quickly realized what's best to wear when traveling to and fro the locations. Something I realized quickly is that layers are important. At the beginning of this month when I traveld to NYC via train I was really worried about bring too cold so I wore a cardigan/zip up sweater. It worked pretty well but I quickly realized I should've wore more because it was so air conditioned on the train! That's why for this look I picked my favorite jeans, a cute and comfy tee, my favorite scarf (the one pictured is very similar but Modcloth sells other similar ones) and converse for my upcoming trip to Florida!

❄ What I Got For Christmas 2014 ❄
***Disclaimer: Christmas is a time where you should spend your time with family and friends. This post is not meant to come off as bragging. I am incredibly thankful for my family and for everything they've bought me, but Christmas means more to me than the exchange of gifts.***
I love opening my gifts on Christmas morning. It's always a fun experience to see each of the gifts that my friends and family put so much thought into. I thought it'd be fun to share what I got for Christmas this year Most of this is from my parents but a few random ones are thrown in too. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!
In My Stocking :
Barnes and Noble Gift Card- This was my Secret Santa gift from work. Honestly, I love it. Books are amazing.
Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince- So I'm currently in the process of rereading the Harry Potter series (!) and I only had up to book 5 because I believe I lost book 6 on a Canadian camping trip and 7, I have no clue where he is. I knew that I needed to buy book 6 again before it came time to read it so I bought it for my self and stuck it in my stocking!
The Body Shop Strawberry Puree- My mum bought all of the beauty products in my stocking (with a little help form me) so I knew all of them but that doesn't take away from the fact that this stuff smells so good I could almost eat it.
The Body Shop Shimmer Cube in bronze - I'm a green eyed girl who knows bronzes bring out the lighter shades of my eyes.
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder- #Essiebuttoneffect
The Body Shop Makeup Brushes- #therewasasale
Bite Beauty Lipgloss- As far as lipglosses goes this one ranks pretty high. It's a bit sticky but it's not as bad as some could be, it's a wonderful shade and the smell is just delightful (so pretty and fruity).
Benefit Beauty Rockateur- I wanted to try a new blush (originally NARS Amour) so after walking around Sephora I decided on this baby, who has a delightful rose-gold color.
Other Gifts:

September Favorites
Note: this post got lost in my drafts :( but I thought it was still relevant to post!
Holy cow, September has flown by! I know we all say that every month but it's honestly true! I feel like just yesterday I was going into my last first day of school and now I'm prepping for my first and last homecoming! So crazy and exciting! Here's my favorites for September.
Brandy Melville Hoodie- Brandy Melville is a brand loved my stars (here's a quick google proof for ya) and it's easy to see why. This hoodie is so dang soft and comfortable it's like I'm wearing a cloud.
J.Crew Flats- I've been looking for a good pair of loafers to replace my DV Dolce Vita pair that I've nearly run into the ground. I found these while searching, obviosuly they won't be replacing my loafers but they will give 'em a run for their money.
Rebecca Minkoff Mini Affair Bag- I've been looking at Rebecca Minkoff bags for awhile now. To me they're some of the most asthetically pleasing bags on the market. When I found this one at a discounted price I threw a mini party!!
Lush's Ro's Argan Body Conditioner- I love Lush. Their products are so heavenly and this was no exception. It's kind of like conditioner for your hair but for your body. You use it the same way and it leaves your skin smelling wonderful and feeling like you've just walked out of a spa.
My Charger Portable Charger- My phone has a battery worse than the iPhone's so it dies often. To combat this I bought a portable charger with a cute print!
Benefit Gimme Brow- I have semi-good brow game but my bangs hide them. So instead of fixing them up everyday whisk this baby on to them and they do a tiny transformation into something lovely-even hidden by my fringe.
Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes- I love mascara that gives me defined, voluminous lashes and this one is it! I've been wearing it non-stop since I bought it!
Nivea A Kiss of Milk and Honey Soothing Lip Care- I carry this around with me and is super nice to throw on before I put on some lipgloss or lipstick or just by itself.
Beauty and The Beast iPod Cover- How cute is this? Hmm? I just got a new iPod and I've been dying to get this case, it's so adorable! I love it!!

It's the Little Things
I have never really been a big jewelry girl. Sure I've got a few statement necklaces and quirky rings but my heart lies in the dainty selection of jewelry. I love way a simple necklace like my Butterfly Twist necklace from Peggy Li Creations can make an outfit sweeter or how a bracelet like this Kate Spade one can not only be a nod to my dancer lifestyle but a reminder to have a little fun or with a modern twist this Micheal Kors bracelet is perfect for a balanced splash of glam. So today I'm sharing with you a fun little collection of all my favorite dainty jewelry from around the web!

A Little Needed Retail Therapy
Late last week (Wednesday night) I came down with a wicked sinus cold and spent most of the weekend nursing myself back to health with some well needed rest...and a small bout of retail therapy early this week! Sometimes buying new, pretty, in season pieces (in person) makes me so happy-I'll go from having a bad day to a having an amazing one just by stepping into a store. Now while that may be bad for my wallet, my mood certainly does thank me when I'm done!
A girl can never be short on cute prints, good scents and pretty colors!!

The Fairest of Them All
Red Valentino's collection's are always inspired by a fairy tale (Hansel and Gretel & Alice in Wonderland), but this fall's happens to be inspired by my childhood favorite, Snow White. The collection features vibrant colors, patterns, famous sayings and a few pieces with Snow's fair face adorning them. I think what I love most about the collection is that it's not extremely girly or edgy, there's a prefect balance. There's girly silhouettes, clear plastic rain coats, mohair jackets, velvet tops, and leather clutches. I can't fully express to you how much I love this collection!
*This post originally appeared on my secondary blog Inspired By... but I love this collection so much I had to share it with you guys too!

Spring Crushing
Lately I've been crushing on spring hard. This winter has been brutal and I'm just itching to say "buh-bye" to all the freezing cold temperatures, icky snow (snow is only OK in December) and the boring outfits. Let me tell ya, you can only wear a sweater and pants so many ways. And don't even get me started on shoes!! But besides all the gross winter that's happening outside I'm stuck on spring. So stuck that I've bought quite a few things just for spring.
What I Bought:Mint Skirt: Modcloth, Black Patterned Skirt: Modcloth, Scarf: Modcloth, Necklace (Elephants): Forever 21, Necklace (Apple): Modcloth, Pin: Modcloth
